City of North Charleston Christmas Festival 2018

City of North Charleston Christmas Festival 2018

The City of North Charleston Christmas Festival is back and better than ever! The festivities start with the Christmas tree lighting on Friday, November 30th at the Felix C. Davis Community Center (4800 Park Circle). Mayor Summey will be on hand to help turn the switch on that lights the 40′ Christmas Tree. Grab a hot chocolate, stroll around the circle and see all the twinkling lights while enjoying the sounds of live carolers between 6 and 7 pm.

On Saturday, December 1st, the 2018 Christmas Festival gets in full swing starting at 3 pm with live music, kids activities, a marshmallow roasting pit, food vendors and so much more! Make sure to bring your favorite chair and set it up along the parade route that runs along E Montague from the CVS to the Circle and back. The parade will start at 5 pm and will feature Santa Claus himself as he makes his way to the circle. There will be plenty of time to visit with St. Nick and take photos, so bring your camera!

The Circle will close at 2 pm to vehicular traffic, but there will be plenty of parking along the islands around the traffic circle.  Just remember to take the side streets on Buist or Durant Ave.  Check out this handy map of everything that the Christmas Festival will have to offer!
