Burning Down the House
If you have ever stopped by new neighborhood breakfast, lunch, brunch and grocery spot “The Junction Kitchen & Provisions“, then you probably have met Kimana and Legare. Kimana and Legare are the proud owners of “The Junction” and are a fixture in the Park Circle community. Very recently their home on Bexley St. caught fire and the community of Park Circle is rallying to help out.
The appropriately named “Burning Down the House” benefit will be held on Sunday, June 7 at The Sparrow (1078 E Montague Ave.). Come by for a family friendly event with live music, a silent auction and BBQ from The Barbeque Joint starting at 1pm!
The funds that are raised at this event will go towards whatever this family needs to make the next few months easier for them while they make the transition from their former home.
Probably, the best way you can support them is by stopping by The Junction Kitchen and Provisions and having a meal, or stocking up on some groceries or wine. They are located at 4438 Spruill Ave in North Charleston!
If you can make it to the benefit on Sunday, here are just a few things you can bid on:
Gift certificates from:
EVO Pizzeria
The Brew Cellar
The Green Goat
Park Circle Comics
Park Circle Film Society
Plus, Sawdust Wood Co. is supplying a handmade cutting board! There will be plenty of other items to bid on, so bring your checkbook!
