The Barbeque Joint 5th Anniversary Block Party!
The Barbeque Joint is having a party and you’re all invited! It’s the 5th anniversary of the Barbeque Joint and to celebrate that honor, they will be closing down East Montague in Park Circle to have a good ol’ fashion Block Party! From 11am to 4pm on Saturday, February 9, 2013 the Barbeque Joint will be serving up savory bbq and sides to residents and visitors who come on by. The party will also include an all-you-can-eat oyster roast for only $10, with proceeds going to the Carolina Youth Development Center. Eating isn’t the only thing you will be able to do during this event, they will also have an assortment of entertainment, like corn hole games, live music and the opportunity to take a picture with a real live pony. The event will feature performances by The V-Tones, Sweet T&A & The Bluestone Ramblers. This Saturday is proving to be a very busy one in the Park Circle area, because you also have the option of going to the Oak Terrace Preserve Block Party just down the street. Their block party is to celebrate the opening of Phase 2 of their subdivision and they will also be offering free food from Sesame Burgers and Cork Bistro as well as live music and games. If you’re free on Saturday, come on by, view the area, and take a picture with a pony!
