Party at The Powerhouse – Charleston Wine and Food Festival 2015
The 10th anniversary of the wildly successful Charleston Wine and Food Festival is quickly approaching. Festivities are set for March 4-8, 2015 and even though it is months away the organizers already have a launch party set up to get people excited for the upcoming festival! This year the launch party will be held at the Powerhouse near Park Circle, located in a former electrical plant on the Navy Yard. The event at the Powerhouse is set for Wednesday, August 27th and will feature some of Charleston’s best chefs combined with the food truck community to offer a truly unique culinary experience. The party will serve as the official ticket launch party for the 2015 festival and will be the second time the Food & Wine Festival has chosen a nearby Park Circle venue to hold their event. It’s good to see that the organizers of the Charleston Wine & Food Festival recognize that North Charleston is just as good as any downtown venue to hold an event like this. Last year I had the opportunity to attend the ticket launch party held at the Mixson Bath and Racquet Club and if this years event is anything like that one, then I will most definitely be there!
