Park Circle Films
Cool things area always happening in the Park Circle area, and if you have never been to a movie screening at The Olde North Charleston Picture House then now is your chance. This Saturday, June 16, the Greater Park Circle Film Society is presenting “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”, which is a story about an 85 year old sushi chef by the name of Jiri Oro. Jiri is considered one of the world’s greatest sushi chefs, operating a 10 seat sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. It is the first restaurant of its kind to be awarded a prestigious 3 star Michelin review. The Film Society presents films not shown in local commercial theaters and is dedicated to the educating the public about the “art of film”. Oh, by the way, they offer free popcorn at all screenings.
