City of North Charleston Harvest Festival Block Party
Fall is in the air, and that can only mean one thing…more outdoor block parties! The City of North Charleston along with the North Charleston Artist Guild and the Olde North Charleston Merchants Association present the Harvest Festival Block Party! There’s going to be plenty to do for all ages. Stroll along East Montague and check out the Artist street market then enter your child in a costume contest and finish the night off with a Street Dance! Whatever you choose to do, the Harvest Festival block party will keep you entertained. Watch for food and drink specials being offered by the restaurants and bars in the Olde Village. The Harvest Festival will be taking place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will feature live musical performances by The Local Honeys, and the V-Tones. Keep in mind, if you’re driving to the event that East Montague will be closed to vehicle traffic from Jenkins Ave. to Virginia Ave starting at 4pm.
Schedule of events:
6:00-7:30pm: Music by The Local Honeys
6:00-8:00pm: kid friendly ghost stories by the Backporch Storytellers, a student art exhibit, and kid’s crafts, games and inflatables
6:00-9:00pm: Artist street market featuring booths by members of the North Charleston Artist Guild
8:00-10:00pm: Street dance featuring festive tunes by the V-Tones
