Sawdust Wood Co. Pop-Up Shop
As an avid supporter of all things local, I like to feature things that are unique and useful. The locally owned and operated Sawdust Wood Co. is one of those companies. Sawdust Wood Co. creates handmade hardwood cutting boards from locally sourced wood from right here in Charleston, SC. The company is the creation of Boston-bred Jack Manchester who after creating a butcher block cutting board as a gift to his future in-laws decided that this was his new venture. On Sunday, March 23, 2014, the public will now be able to view and purchase these one-of-a-kind creations. See first hand the love that goes into each and every handmade hardwood cutting board at the first ever Sawdust Wood Co. Pop-Up Shop being held at the Mixson Barn in Park Circle (directions below). The event takes place between 1pm and 5pm and there will be beer and burgers provided. This is your chance to take home one of Jack’s custom-made boards that range in price from $35.00-$215.00. For more information visit the Sawdust Wood Co. Facebook page here.
